Who should say “Hello” first when you meet someone working with people, as a cashier, a doctor, a bus driver ?
If you say “Hello” but the other doesn’t have any reaction, who’s wrong, you or the worker ?
Should we let any worker being nice before we say anything ?

it shouldn’t be a question in the first place. if you want to say hello, just say! if you don’t, don’t! if the other person does not reply to your hello, then he’s just being plain snotty. of he’s deaf.

It doesn’t matter much, I was thinking about it while waiting for the bus the other day…
